Access to the Francazal offices (Toulouse)

SAFIRE is situated on a military airfield "base aérienne 101", called "Francazal". This airfield is situated close to the Cugnaux city, south-west of Toulouse (Driving direction is Tarbes).

Caution!! Foreigners must provide a copy of passport or ID-card 24h before the visit.

Car access

Take highway A64, direction Tarbes.
Take exit 37 (Cugnaux)
Follow Base 101 Francazal
At entrance, stop on the right and take an access pass at the gate. Vehicule documents to leave also.

Caution: you must park backwards; in the way to be ready to leave!

Access by train / metro / bus

Take metro ligne A direction Basso-Cambo.
Leave metro at Basso-Cambo.
Take bus n°58 (bus time-table), same ticket to use for metro and bus. Caution: sometimes only one bus per hour.
Step-out the bus at "Base Aérienne".
Walk to the gate for access passes.

Access by plane

From Toulouse-Blagnac airport, take a taxi to Francazal (20mn drive)
or take the bus to Toulouse-city-center and take the metro at "Jean-Jaures" stop (see instructions above). The solution by bus + metro can take about 90mn!
